Causes of Gynecologic Cancer
Almost all cervical cancers and some cancers of vagina and vulva are caused by a virus. Some others are caused by genes that promote the growth of cancerous cells. The abnormal function of these genes is either acquired through smoking, environment influences, aging etc or is inherited.
